Why I Do This

I love horses.

But what breaks my heart is seeing good people in the equestrian world struggle — overworked trainers, stressed barn owners, and families just trying to make riding possible for their kids. Because when the people who care for horses are under financial strain, it’s the horses who ultimately pay the price. That can be tragic.

That’s why I do this work. By helping equestrians and horse-loving adults build profitable businesses, grow personal wealth, and reduce stress, I help horses.

My Story

Hi, I’m Jenny, a lifelong equestrian turned finance and business strategist.

I started my riding career in San Diego, competing nationally in the hunter, equitation, and jumper rings before transitioning into a 30-year career in finance, governance, and consulting.

Over time, I realized the equestrian industry has one consistent challenge: incredible talent, relentless work ethic, and very little focus on financial strategy.

So I combined what I know best - horses and finance - to help equestrians stop surviving and start thriving.

Through Drop Your Stirrups, I teach riders, parents, and professionals how to create systems for stability, profitability, and peace of mind. Because managing money is similar to riding: it’s the small, nuanced changes and discipline that result in success.
